Review is Good

One of my teachers repeated this often and required us to frequently review what we were learning. Lately, I’ve found this to be a good life practice. Reviewing what I’ve learned causes me to be thankful and fans the embers of change I had once started with passion.

About two months ago, God directed me to review the promises He has made to me personally through the years I’ve followed Him. I made notes in the margins of my Bibles along the way and have started going through each one, writing down the verses and what God said to me at the time.

My one resolution this year is to review, be thankful and believe what God promised me.

If you’ve not made notes in your Bible while reading, I urge you to start. Note the date and why the verse stood out. You’ll position yourself for review and have a history of God’s words to your heart.

Such good wisdom here, Linda. I did a very similar review last year and it was an incredible faith building exercise! I’m delighted you shared this excellent suggestion!
